Hotel Budir Weddings photographers in Iceland is the story of Candice and Nick, two Canadians who decided to flee their beautiful country to make an intimate elopement in another of the most beautiful known places in the world: Iceland.
They climbed atop a hill, next to a lighthouse in the small port town of Stykkisholmur, northwest of the island. They swore a life full of adventures and calm, of cold and heat, of dancing and peace. A life together.
We exchanged emails and Skype calls for months but it was not until the morning of the wedding when we first met in person while sharing a breakfast at the Hotel Egilsen. And then, we move to the Hotel Budir for the wedding photos. Seldom have we connected so quickly and well with other people: same musical tastes, cinematic, vital attitudes …
The 48 hours we shared together in Iceland were revitalizing when the weariness of a long wedding season began to weigh.
It was a gift to meet them, share that adventure with them and discover that life is not a journey, it is rather a dance, a great song!
